my husband and i drove down the Washington, Oregon, northern California coast 

before we had kids.

absolutely gorgeous.

My husband and i love to rock climb..

bouldering especially.

we went camping one long weekend, in West VA.

i think my husband was done this before i even had my camera turned on.

i loved how the tree growing out of the rock resembled a dinosaur

Train Station

I love trains.

always have.

i travelled from Toronto to Vancouver by train twice.

these are just a couple from the train station in town.

the first is with my Canon T2i

the other three were with my little Olympus.

I remember learning about butterflies and moths in grade school.

I was awed by the amazing qualities..

the beautiful colors...

the intricate details and patterns...

The Tiger Swallowtail became my favorite.

my husband found this beautiful butterfly in our yard.  

i, of course, had to photograph it.

This beautiful moth was outside our apartment door a few years ago.

poor guy was injured.

if i'm completely honest it was probably by our cat.

she used to snatch dragonflies, butterflies and birds right out of the air.
