Winter walk: blue

on the weekend i had a chance to take a walk out back.

just me, the dog and my camera.

what a great walk it was.

i got to play with my camera settings.

my goals:

1. to capture the sparkle of the sun off the snow.

2. to capture the bold shadows.

my christmas gift from my husband.

loved these troopers.  hanging on for dear life.

i took this purely because it was a white and a yellow birch.  i'm a geek.

1st Anniversary - (J&F) *location 1*

i took some fun photos for a wedding i was in in June 2011

for their first anniversary the couple asked if i could do a photo-shoot with them.

hmmm..let me think on it..uh..yeah!

i was so excited.
i was actually nervous.
my first, ever, photo-shoot.
i wanted the photos to be perfect.

we were going to have fun.

it was a beautiful..hot..day, and such a blast.

we went to a couple locations.

warm memories

my daughter keeps asking if we can go to the beach.

my thermometer outside the window says it's -18C/-4F 

and that's not including the windchill.

i think the beach is for another day....a far off day.

so here's a few warm memories.

(they were taken on my iphone *tear* and posted on instagram, and now they're here for you to enjoy)

bridge the gap

i love bridges. 

i love train bridges.

i love bridges for traffic.

and foot bridges.

snowboard lessons

he wants to be like his dad.

what a great Jan 1st when daddy took him outside to begin the snowboard lessons.

generations

I didn't take my camera out much over the Christmas holidays.

i felt like being in everything happening this year. and not outside capturing it all.

i did take it out for a few special shots.
